The staff at this surgery are disinterested and that applies to the receptionists, the nurses and the doctors. I transferred to this surgery after moving to the area and I have been appalled by the very poor level of medical knowledge and empathy. It is one of those surgeries where profit goes before patient safety. I have experienced one issue after another and am now in the process of leaving this surgery. Put your welfare, and the welfare of your loved ones first, and choose a different surgery for primary care. Appalling!!
It would help if annual checkups for chronic conditions could be combined into one session instead of separate reviews, e.g. annual hypertension check and follow-up could be combined with annual diabetes check and follow-up. Currently this seems to involve 2 separate reviews and follow-ups.
Recently had minor surgery - Dr and assistant both had good sense of humour which helps the experience! Then, had stitch removed by Jacob - again, no pain (helpful) and lovely manner!
Would like to add - the dispensing ladies are always 'friendly, chatty and fabulous'!!!
Had a great health check with Jacob Snochowski this week - he explained everything really clearly, was polite, professional, personable and positive, and very helpful indeed. The whole appointment was a pleasure.
The only reason I've put 'neither unlikley or likely' next to the 'would you recommend' bit is that I've yet to try to actually see a doctor. So far I've been Ok with a just a phone call. Until I've tried to see a doctor, and been able to do so at my request, I cannot be sure this change to the system works, so cannot whole hearedly recommend the surgery.
I recently had to make an appointment to see a doctor afte r feeling unweel I rang the surgery at 8.30 and was contacted by a doctor within minutes I was given an appointment for for 10.40 and was seen by doctor Haigh who was superb great service couldnt have been better thanks so much
